THE PENICILINE INVENTION

Penicillin was one of the first antibiotics invented and one of the most widely used.  

Fleming studied bacteria in his laboratory, but then he had to travel for almost a month and forgot one of the plates with the bacteria near a window. When he returned he found that his experiment had become contaminated with some kind of mold.  He studied it under the microscope and found that the mold had killed the bacteria, then identified the mold as Penicillium fungi.

So If Fleming hadn't accidentally stopped growing bacteria during his trip, he wouldn't have discovered penicillin and its properties as an antibiotic to cure diseases.

CREATION OF THE UN

The United Nations is an international organization founded in 1945 after the Second World War by 51 countries committed to maintaining international peace and security, developing friendly relations among nations and promoting social progress, better living standards and human rights.

If the second world war not occurred, the UN would not have been created to maintain international peace and security, and to take effective collective action
