"BOCADILLO" is a Latin American sweet that is prepared with guava pulp, sugar cane panela or refined sugar.
In Colombia it is prepared with guava pulp and is usually combined with cheese or dulce de leche.
In Colombia, the municipality of Vélez, Santander department, is considered the main manufacturing center due to the high artisanal and industrial production of this sweet and the large affected guava plantations in the region.
